Scorpy privacy policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026 · Français

Scorpy is a sports scores app. It works without an account: we don't ask for your name, email address or phone number.

What stays on your phone

Your favourite competitions, followed matches, votes, language and theme are stored only in the app's storage on your device. You can erase them by clearing the app's data.

Notifications

If you turn on a match bell, your browser creates a technical notification address (push subscription). We keep it on our server with the match ID and your language, only to send you that match's alerts. It is deleted automatically a few days after the match, or when you turn the bell off.

Votes and reactions

Polls and reactions are anonymous: only per-match totals are kept, for 30 days at most.

Advertising

Scorpy is free and funded by advertising. When an ad network (for example Google) is enabled, it may use cookies or your device's advertising ID to show and measure ads, under its own rules and your settings. You can limit personalised ads in your phone's settings.

Hosting and sports data

The app is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses to run and protect the service. Results come from sports data providers; no data about you is sent to them. We don't sell any data.

Video highlights

Match highlights are official videos played with the YouTube player (privacy-enhanced mode). When you start a video, YouTube (Google) may process data under its own rules.

News and transfers

The News tab shows the headline, photo and link of articles published by sports media. When you tap an article, it opens on the publisher's website, which applies its own privacy rules. Transfer rumours are picked up from press headlines and are not confirmed by Scorpy.

Children

Scorpy is not specifically directed at children under 13.
